Architect
TURNER AND ASSOCIATES
Turner and Associates Architects believe that architecture
should produce buildings that are satisfying to use, visually engaging, cost effective to build and operate, sustainable in
their use of natural resources. Importantly, they must be born
from innovative yet pragmatic responses to briefs, sites
and typologies.
They are driven by the desire to understand the contemporary urban landscape and an opportunity to facilitate its repair and reinvention through the application of guiding principles.
Since forming in 2000, Turner and Associates has focused
on designing for sustainable development. Each undertaking
must pass an internal assessment of its ‘social, economical, ecological design sustainability’ (SEEDS) worthiness.
